I am a portraiture, lifestyle and cultural documentary photographer in South Florida. I define my photography as interpretations of beauty, reflections of life. To me, the perfect client is a person who has a general appreciation for art, beyond my work or photography itself. She/He has a creative spirit, open mind and pleasant personality. She/He loves unique photographs and is interested in creative collaboration with me to create photographs that best portray themselves. Perfect clients aren't perfect people, but simply people who make perfect clients because of their great demeanor, respect for professional working artists and ideas.
To help prepare amazing people to work with me, I let clients know what to expect in a portraiture session with me, I give them ideas on what they might want to wear, how to relax in front of the camera, the benefits of makeup artists (if a woman client wants to hire one in addition to hiring me) and even ideas of locations we can use to create the portraits. Clients that are interested in lifestyle images of their passions or professions or cultural documentary of the events that matter most to them (family, community, cultural etc), know that they will be treated with the same level of respect and care as my portraiture clients. What matters to me most is making clients both comfortable and happy, who in turn provide the patience and respect that make professional relationships work well.
In addition to my passion for photography, I enjoy writing, reading, and studying filmmaking. My interest in learning more about people, personality and behavior (often the essence of the best photographs) led me to complete a Bachelors and Masters degree within the behavioral sciences. My passion for adventure and interest in cultures has led me to travel domestically and internationally, recording these adventures through photography. My adventures, your adventures, all photographic...all stories waiting to be told and shared.
