Yesterday I had an exciting and creative fashion shoot (a new photograph style of mine called Tru Expression Portraiture™, which differs from my base body of work, mostly solo portraiture photographed on location, or 1-on-1 Portraiture) with IDEITY of Art by Ideity, my sister. As I mentioned in previous posts, she is both a model and make-up artist. She recently turned 29 and we decided to do a new shoot combining the elements of her sense of style and make-up talent with my passion for photography and for the close crop, headshot and half-body shot composition. We've done previous shoots together, I believe this is the 4th one and it's my favorite so far.
She had a lot of great ideas and one of my favorite types of clients are clients that are artists in other genres of art. It makes for a great fusion of ideas. Below are photographs from the shoot. The full shoot can be viewed among the albums on my Facebook page.
For lighting, I used my 430ex flash on camera, which bounced off of the ceiling and had ambient lighting. And yes, I am a nerd and meant the double entendre of 2wenty Nine is Prime. ;)

oh this is fantastic. Love the different expressions...like she's making a statement of who she is (of course:-). Soft and sexy, shopaholic, fierce..comes to mind. Really nice work:-D

Thanks Sandra. I loved the variety that we created..the intensity of the black vest ones are some of the most intense I've ever created. It was a joy!
