I miss traveling. I am one of those nerds that actually likes airports (prior to the legalized TSA sexual assaults...I've never had a patdown or nude scan). My favorite airport is PBIA (in South Florida). It's adorable and cute. I've never been there when it was busy. Two other airports that I like (that look cool) are YUL and HKG in Montréal and Hong Kong, respectively. I'd say the most hideous airport I've been to is MIA (in Miami). It reminded me of a Greyhound Bus Station.
I've only traveled domestically since 2009, but prior to that I traveled internationally at different times for a few years. I was organizing photographs as I worked on changing my logo and web collaterals (as I mentioned in the previous post) and started laughing as I came across these photographs below.
Can you really really tell what is on my mind lately?
This is my souvenir from Beijing. I bought it at Silk Street. My other souvenirs from when I travel is usually the paper currency, which I use as bookmarks often.
However, the recession interfered with me being able to travel internationally. Sigh. Hopefully I will be able to again in the upcoming years. These pictures below represent travel impediments, hahaha. I created them last year when I did a 365 project for a while, though I've decided I like pursuing my photography projects in different ways.
My favorite place of all the places that I have been is Hong Kong. Good food, interesting energy and interesting culture. I hope to travel there again in the next few years. One thing that is neat was how I felt like I was there again when I visted Chinatown in San Francisco last year. Do you like to travel ? What's your favorite place that you've ever been?
